Unisciti a me e scopriamo insieme l’Arte del Viaggio.

An Unforgettable Pedone Family Journey Through Puglia. We recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Puglia, Italy (19 of us, 2nd and 3rd generation of the Pedone/Simone family) on a journey to explore our roots and reconnect with the towns our grandparents left over a century ago.

With just a few ideas, we reached out to Alessandra, and what she delivered was far beyond anything we could have imagined.

From the outset, Alessandra understood the heart and meaning behind our trip. She curated a thoughtful, immersive experience that blended history, family, food, and friends into our two days together.  Our tour of Ostuni was remarkable… three hours walking through an ancient walled city, where Alessandra brought its history and culture to life. That evening, we had a beautiful dinner at a local masseria that felt both elegant and deeply personal. The dinner was authentic, locally produced and prepared Puglian cuisine. Molto delizioso!

The next day, Alessandra arranged for all of us to travel to Bisceglie, the hometown of our grandparents, to live our heritage.

That day was nothing short of magical. She shared the history of the city, guided us through its streets, and created opportunities for us to interact with the local community. People stopped to talk, to share, and to welcome us. It didn’t feel like a tour, it felt like a homecoming.

As my son said afterward, “I thought we were just going to be sightseeing. Instead, we were part of the town and part of the people.”

I think I speak for all of us when I say “I felt connected to the streets, the houses, the people and the sea.”

Alessandra didn’t just plan a trip, she gave us a gift. We are so grateful. Arrivederci Puglia. We will be back!"
